Dubai Culture’s “Schools of Life” Projects Win Silver at Beijing Youth Science Creativity Competition
In a remarkable international achievement, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced the success of three student-led scientific innovations under the “Science and Innovation Club” – a key component of its “Schools of Life” initiative – at the 44th Beijing Youth Science Creativity Competition. Held in China, the competition is recognized as Asia’s longest-standing science innovation platform.
The participating UAE students secured three silver medals and second place globally, a feat that underscores Dubai Culture’s mission to cultivate future innovators while enhancing the emirate’s status as a global hub for culture, creativity, and talent development.
The student teams had undergone an eight-week intensive training program hosted at Al Tawar Public Library under the “Impact Track”—one of the central learning pathways in the “Science and Innovation Club.” Guided by expert trainers from the “Basit” Foundation, the students developed impactful AI-driven projects focused on sustainability and societal challenges.
