HE Sarah Al Amiri Showcases UAE’s Global Educational Leadership at Human Capability Initiative 2025 in Riyadh
Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, UAE Minister of Education, emphasized the UAE’s pioneering role in future-proofing education during her participation in the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) 2025 conference in Riyadh. Held under the theme ‘Beyond Readiness’, the high-level event brought together over 300 ministers, policymakers, and thought leaders from academic and private sectors to collaborate on global human capital development.
During her keynote remarks, HE Al Amiri detailed the UAE’s strategic efforts to align national education policies with future labour market needs and global standards. She underscored the country’s commitment to lifelong learning, technology-driven education, and developing future-ready skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability.
“The UAE remains steadfast in its commitment to shaping a resilient, forward-looking educational ecosystem that empowers individuals through innovation and collaboration,” stated Her Excellency. “We are investing in digital literacy, artificial intelligence integration, and inclusive access to technology to ensure every learner is equipped for the future.”

She shared insights into the UAE’s data-driven approach to curriculum reform and labour policy alignment, aimed at fostering inclusive economic opportunities and addressing the challenges of rapid digital transformation.
Her Excellency concluded by reaffirming the role of education as the cornerstone of national development and emphasized the need for continuous learning pathways and agile policy frameworks to navigate future global challenges.
