7X launches Waslah Post at the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai
7X, the UAE’s leading trade, transport, and logistics holding group, has unveiled Waslah Post, the world’s first digital marketplace designed to aggregate postal operators. The announcement was made at the 28th Universal Postal Congress – Dubai 2025, marking a significant step in shaping the future of global e-commerce and logistics.
Waslah Post will transform the role of postal operators by providing digital sales channels, aggregated volumes, and seamless access to cross-border demand. The platform allows fragmented or offline postal operators to become digitally discoverable and bookable, while enabling larger networks to capture new revenue streams and drive inbound growth. Built on Universal Postal Union (UPU) frameworks and existing bilateral agreements, Waslah Post is set to strengthen the global postal ecosystem by turning fragmentation into federation.
Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, said:
“Waslah Post is a natural extension of 7X’s platform strategy alongside NXN, EMX, and FINTX. By digitising and aggregating postal operators, we enable them to scale volumes, capture new revenues, and remain central to the global logistics landscape, while empowering SMEs, e-commerce players, and individuals to trade seamlessly across borders. This is about future-proofing the industry and partnering networks worldwide for a borderless future.”
The unified marketplace will democratise access to global trade, offering SMEs, micro-sellers, and individuals cost-efficient cross-border shipping. E-tailers and marketplaces will benefit from scalable access to postal networks for global fulfilment, checkout integration, and reverse logistics.
By leveraging the inherent carbon efficiency of postal networks, Waslah Post also provides governments and regulators with a scalable, sustainable, and inclusive alternative to fragmented courier flows—aligning with UPU’s sustainability goals.
Nasiba AlShukairy, Group Senior Executive Director of Strategy and Investment at 7X, added:
“Waslah Post is a cornerstone of our strategy to strengthen 7X’s position as a future-ready logistics and digital infrastructure enabler. By federating postal networks and connecting them with SMEs and e-commerce players, we are unlocking scale, enabling new value creation, and embedding 7X at the centre of digital trade flows.”
Looking ahead, Waslah Post will integrate fintech solutions via FINTX, the group’s fintech arm, to enable seamless SME and e-tailer payments while fostering financial inclusion in emerging markets. The platform will also offer deep e-commerce integrations, enabling cost-effective fulfilment, checkout systems, and reverse logistics. In addition, it will leverage global postal data insights to optimise pricing, routes, and bilateral negotiations, creating a resilient digital backbone for global trade.
Positioned as the infrastructure of the future for postal operators, SMEs, and e-commerce ecosystems, Waslah Post is set to redefine cross-border logistics, making it more accessible, sustainable, and digitally connected.
