7X and Urbi Partner to Elevate Logistics Efficiency with GIS Solutions at GITEX Global 2024
7X has entered a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Urbi, a leader in geo-intelligence, to incorporate Urbi’s Geographic Information System (GIS) technology into 7X’s logistics operations. Signed at GITEX Global 2024, the agreement marks a commitment to harness cutting-edge mapping and geospatial data for optimizing delivery operations across 7X and its subsidiaries, including EMX and Emirates Post.
The MoU, signed by Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of 7X, and Alexander Sysoev, Chairman of Urbi, will support the creation of a comprehensive 'Base Map' to refine route optimization. This map, equipped with accurate residential and business listings, APIs for geocoding, and reverse geocoding capabilities, aims to improve delivery precision and reduce both operational costs and delivery times.
