UAE Launches Artificial Intelligence Academy with Short Programmes in Multiple Languages

The UAE has officially launched the Artificial Intelligence Academy, an innovative initiative designed to nurture the next generation of AI leaders in the region.

Developed in collaboration with the Polynom Group and the Abu Dhabi School of Management, the academy offers a range of short programmes targeting executives, senior government officials, and technical professionals. These programmes aim to equip participants with key skills in AI strategies, national AI frameworks, and executive-level AI applications, helping leaders apply AI tools across multiple sectors.

The academy’s offerings will cover essential AI concepts, generative AI tools, and explore how AI can impact industries such as finance, healthcare, and public administration. These short programmes will be delivered in multiple languages to ensure accessibility for a diverse audience, forming a foundation for broader AI capacity-building efforts in the region.

The strategic partnership agreement was signed in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, during the annual AI summit, "The Machines Can See Summit."

Following this launch, the academy will introduce the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Programme, a 3-4 month leadership course designed to prepare a new generation of AI decision-makers. This comprehensive programme includes eight advanced modules that focus on AI governance, deployment strategies, and how AI is transforming industries such as healthcare, finance, and governance.

The academy’s programmes will feature exclusive seminars from leading scientists and global industry leaders, offering participants invaluable insights into areas like computer vision, sovereign AI, large language models, and AI ethics. These sessions will foster a robust exchange of ideas, driving forward AI innovation and best practices in the region.

Furthermore, the academy will collaborate with NVIDIA, integrating the tech giant's expertise and technologies into select programmes to further accelerate AI readiness and real-world application.

Alexander Khanin, founder of the Polynom Group, highlighted the importance of bridging scientific discovery and commercial AI applications, emphasizing the academy’s role in fostering innovation and responsible AI leadership in the UAE.

Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi School of Management, emphasized that the AI Academy positions the UAE as a global hub for AI leadership, empowering future changemakers to harness AI’s transformative potential across industries.

The Artificial Intelligence Academy is also set to serve as a catalyst for collaborative research, networking, and startup incubation, contributing to the region’s growing role in the global AI landscape.
