University of Dubai grants 50% scholarship to outstanding undergraduate students from all nationalities
University of Dubai has revealed a distinct scholarship plan providing 50% discount rate on tuition fees for undergraduate courses to outstanding national and international students scoring 90% and above in their high schools.
Revealing the scheme during a scholastic conference at the University of Dubai, Dr. Eesa M. Bastaki, President of the University, stated: "In pursuit of quality and as part of our efforts to change Dubai as the hub of worldwide education, UD is giving 50% discount rate on its tuition fees to national and international students who will be an added value to quality education in UAE."
During the meeting attended by Deans of Business, IT and Law faculties, Dr. Bastaki stated the scheme is distinct since it is open to all undergraduate students from regional and global levels and does not limit the number of outstanding students who can gain from the scholarship. He stated: "When it concerns bright students, all of us need to join in to give them the chance to learn and succeed."
The scholarship offers 50% discount on tuition costs to all undergraduate students who keep a cumulative CGPA of 3.6 or above during their full-time study at University of Dubai. The plan will consist of also all transfer and international students who are admitted to UD in a record number.
