Initiatives underscore the UAE’s leading role in global humanitarian relief efforts

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has reinforced its ongoing humanitarian commitment to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip by carrying out its 72nd airdrop of aid under Operation Birds of Goodness, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

The mission was conducted in coordination with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and included the participation of Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, and Singapore.

The latest shipment comprised significant quantities of food and essential relief materials, prepared with the support of UAE-based charitable institutions and entities. The supplies aim to address urgent needs in Gaza, where residents continue to face difficult humanitarian conditions.

With this airdrop, the UAE has delivered more than 3,972 tonnes of aid through air operations, including food and essential items. The initiative highlights the UAE’s steadfast role in supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their hardships.

Officials emphasized that these coordinated relief efforts demonstrate the UAE’s commitment to mobilising regional and international partnerships to deliver aid to crisis-hit communities, further cementing its reputation as a global humanitarian leader.
