SWS Senior Cup Victory for Romaldo Labrooy at Dubai Kartdrome
The first Sodi World Series (SWS) race evening happened at Dubai Kartdrome last night (10 July), with 25 competitors braving the warm UAE summer temperature levels to battle for leading honours.
The consistency delivered on the track by Romaldo Labrooy settled and saw him grabbing the night's leading honours with a win and 2nd place, holding off Aron Demirovski in race one, and completing second to Anjum Shaikh, only 2 seconds behind, in race two.
Masters class winner Mohammed Ismail pulled a double heat win while combining it with the front joggers in the senior's group regardless of his kart weighing 10kg much heavier.
After a win and Sixth place surface in the final round of the SWS Ramadan Obstacle, a four-round race which ran throughout the Holy Month, Labrooy directly lost out in the Champion taking Second place. This moment, nevertheless, his steadiness repaid as he appeared a lot more figured out than ever before to take the top area on the whole.
During race one, Demirovski was secured a battle with Anjum Shaikh for 2nd and 3rd place, beating him to the line for 2nd while Shaikh had his vengeance on Demirovski and Labrooy in race two taking house the win.

The next SWS Race Evening happens on 24 July 2017 at the outside Dubai Kartdrome track.
