Supreme Organising Committee Finalises Preparations for IDEX and NAVDEX 2025
The Supreme Organising Committee of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025, and the International Defence Conference convened to review the final preparations for the highly anticipated global event. This edition is expected to be the largest in the history of the exhibitions, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. Organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council, the event will take place from 17 to 21 February 2025 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Staff Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee, along with His Excellency Staff Major General Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al Jabri, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, and Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group. Key representatives from national institutions across both public and private sectors also attended.
His Excellency Al Mazrouei expressed confidence that the upcoming edition would strengthen international cooperation and strategic partnerships. He praised ADNEC Group and various national entities for their contributions to ensuring the event’s success, further cementing the UAE’s position as a global hub for defence and security innovation.
The subcommittees, operating under the Supreme Organising Committee, are actively working to provide international exhibitors with full technical and operational support. They are also facilitating platform allocations for showcasing cutting-edge defence technologies while enhancing visitor engagement through expert-led discussions on the future of the sector.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, confirmed that all technical and logistical preparations have been finalised. He highlighted ADNEC Group’s commitment to delivering an unparalleled exhibition experience, reinforcing the UAE’s standing as a leader in defence and advanced technology.
The upcoming edition will also introduce the CBRNE Hub, a specialised platform dedicated to countering chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threats.
