From pairing an excellent selection of grape with the finest international cheeses to an expansive choice of hearty meat cuts, delightful sushi platters and a generous Friday brunch Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is the go-to social destination for foodies this season.

The Foundry, Southern Suns evening steakhouse and all day dining venue, is jazzing up for the return of the popular Steak & Jazz brunch. Guests can expect to indulge their senses in a bountiful selection of meat cuts while the rhythms performed live by talented jazz musicians work their charm to offer a memorable brunch experience. Those looking to continue the festivities after brunch can head up to Hytes Bar on the rooftop for T.G.I.F. where happy hour runs from 4pm until 10pm with Classic Cocktails at AED 25++. Steak & Jazz brunch is priced at AED 199++ with soft beverages, AED 249++ with house beverages and sparkling grape, AED 349++ with house beverages and bubbly. The new prices are effective from 2 October until beginning of next Ramadan.
At The Foundry, steak lovers can look forward to Perfect Pairings a personalised flavour-pairing experience. Ideal for an intimate dinner for two with the restaurants moveable table partitions and romantic water-top seating, diners can enjoy a complimentary glass of grape to accompany each course ordered. With a veritable smorgasbord of steaks on offer including the addition of five more cuts added to the A La Carte menu this season as well as a range of fine meats and fresh seafood guests can enjoy selecting their favourite dishes before turning to the restaurants expert culinary team for advice on grapes to suit each stage of the meal. Perfect Pairings promotion is valid throughout October.
Asia meets Arabia at Kahraman

At Kahraman, Southern Sun Abu Dhabis Middle Eastern restaurant with a twist, guests can look forward to Sushi Night every Monday offering the most appetising sashimi, maxi rolls and other Japanese treats including scrumptious Asian salads, tempura and Asian-inspired desserts. The promotion runs from 7.30pm to 11pm and is priced at AED 129++ with soft drinks and AED 199++ with house beverages.

On Thursdays, Kahraman will be serving up authentic flavours of Arabia at Arabic Seafood Night, with a special set menu for a minimum of two persons featuring seafood-inspired cold and hot mezzeh, soups, a decadent seafood grill platter, Arabic desserts and Moroccan tea or Turkish coffee. The promotion is priced at AED 215++ for each person and is valid until the end of the year.

At Kahramans Arabian Feast Night every Friday, guests will embark on a delicious culinary journey of the region with chefs eclectic tasting menu, featuring the inspiring fusion dishes and traditional favourites from the Middle East. The promotion is priced at AED 149++ per person including a regular flavoured Shisha.

The perfect sundowner at Hytes Bar

Looking out over the stunning skyline of Abu Dhabi, Hytes Bar provides the ideal venue for a Grape and Cheese Night, launching this 30th September. Fans of the timeless pairing can head to Hytes Bar on Wednesdays to savour a variety of artisanal cheeses from the Netherlands, France, Italy and the UK, paired with premium red and white grape beverages specially selected to complement the fine cheese. The selection of grape and cheese will rotate on a weekly basis, offering a fresh experience every time. Cheese connoisseurs will be delighted to find favourites and new varieties to try, including Fourme d'Ambert, Cashel Blue, Fontina, Brie de Meaux Cooleeney, Saint-Nectaire, Buche de Chvre, Mithai, Edam ball and English mature cheddar amongst others. The Grape & Cheese promotion is priced at AED 149 and runs between 7pm until 10pm until beginning of next Ramadan.

Monday at Hytes Bar is now Gentlemens Night! Guys in the mood for a night with the boys can enjoy 50% off cigars when purchasing two measures of Glenfiddich (available aged to 12 years, 15 years, 18 years or 21 years from AED46++). The promotion is also valid at Balcon Bar, Lounge & Terrace for a chilled-out evening by Southern Sun Abu Dhabis beautiful reflection pool.

Chill Out Saturdays at Hytes Bar offer the perfect venue to bring the weekend to a close. Guests can grab a bite from a tempting selection of sandwiches, burgers and mains as well as a beverage from the bar for AED 79++. House beverages are priced at AED 22++ throughout the night from 5pm through 11pm.

High tea time at Filaments

Its always a good time for a high tea party at Filaments, the hotels relaxing lobby lounge. Priced at AED 99++ for two persons, the venue is also offering a combo price of AED 32++ for a hot beverage and pastry during the evening.
