SAP and Chalhoub Group Partner to Drive Digital Transformation with RISE with SAP
SAP and Chalhoub Group, a prominent luxury retailer in the Middle East, have entered a strategic partnership to implement RISE with SAP, hosted on Microsoft Azure. This agreement is a cornerstone of Chalhoub Group’s "Transform Chalhoub" initiative, aimed at modernizing its IT infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting global expansion.
The initiative includes the deployment of SAP S/4HANA, SAP's advanced enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, along with retail and warehouse management applications. These solutions will transition the Group to a unified, cloud-based platform equipped with real-time insights and embedded Business AI capabilities. The new system is designed to optimize operations, automate processes, and strengthen customer engagement across Chalhoub's extensive network.
Dhouha Louati, Vice President - Transformation for Chalhoub Group, highlighted the significance of the partnership:
"Collaborating with SAP allows us to implement powerful AI-driven solutions that will benefit our partners, customers, and employees. With RISE with SAP, we are not merely upgrading our systems but transforming our entire approach to business, enhancing everything from inventory management to customer interactions."
Emile Seferian, Director of Sales, SAP UAE, emphasized SAP’s commitment to driving innovation:
"We are proud to support Chalhoub Group in its digital transformation, enabling dynamic, data-driven decision-making and enhancing service levels across its operations. This partnership underscores SAP's dedication to providing enterprises in the region with innovative solutions for operational excellence."
This agreement builds on an existing relationship between SAP and Chalhoub Group, which has already implemented SAP SuccessFactors for human resource management and talent development.
The signing ceremony, held in Dubai, was attended by key executives, including Patrick Chalhoub, Group President of Chalhoub Group; Manos Raptopoulos, President of SAP EMEA; and Marwan Zeineddine, Managing Director of SAP UAE.
