SAL Signs MoU with stc Group to Enhance Digital Logistics Solutions
SAL Logistics Services, a prominent provider of logistics and supply chain solutions in Saudi Arabia, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with stc Group to bolster digital logistics solutions and enhance operational efficiency. The collaboration is aimed at supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by integrating innovative technologies to improve logistics and supply chain management.
The MoU was signed at the LEAP Conference by Eng. Mohammed Al Sheikh, Chief Strategy, Development & Execution Officer at SAL, and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Haydar, Vice President of Enterprise Accounts at stc Group, with senior executives from both organizations in attendance.
Eng. Mohammed Al Sheikh emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “This MoU marks a significant milestone in enhancing the efficiency of logistics operations in the Kingdom. It will also help us strengthen the digital capabilities of our operational processes by integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, contributing to excellence in customer service and the digital transformation of the logistics sector.”
The partnership focuses on improving operational efficiency and quality at SAL by introducing state-of-the-art tracking systems, warehouse automation, and better shipment monitoring. It also aims to integrate AI and IoT technologies, which will boost the overall efficiency of the logistics operations and supply chain management.
In addition, this collaboration will strengthen both companies’ positions in the transportation and logistics sectors, as well as in digital and telecommunications, driving the Kingdom’s digital transformation efforts. The partnership is fully aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, furthering the country’s goal of becoming a global logistics hub.
