Rua Al Madinah Holding Partners with Adeera to Operate Hotels at Rua Al Madinah Project
Rua Al Madinah Holding, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has signed a partnership agreement with Adeera to operate and manage two buildings featuring 250 hotel rooms and 120 luxury residential units under the Alia brand at the Rua Al Madinah Project. The development is located near the Prophet’s Mosque and is one of the Kingdom’s landmark urban transformation initiatives.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the TOURISE Global Forum in Riyadh and aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the hospitality sector and empower national brands within major development projects.
Naif bin Saleh Al Hamdan, Chairman of Rua Al Madinah Holding, said the partnership underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening Saudi capabilities and supporting the goals of the Public Investment Fund and Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that the Rua Al Madinah Project plays a central role in advancing sustainable development and reinforcing Madinah’s standing as a premier cultural and urban destination.
Eng. Ahmed Al Juhani, CEO of Rua Al Madinah Holding, highlighted that the partnership marks a pivotal step for local companies entering the hospitality management landscape within the project. He described it as the first agreement of its kind and expressed confidence in Adeera’s ability to enhance service quality while preserving Saudi cultural authenticity.
Adeera Hospitality CEO Stefan Leser stated that the project represents a major addition to the Kingdom’s tourism landscape and will serve millions of visitors. He affirmed Adeera’s commitment to enriching the experiences of guests of the Two Holy Mosques and advancing exceptional hospitality rooted in Saudi culture.
With this agreement, Adeera joins an existing roster of international hotel operators within the Rua Al Madinah Project, including Marriott, Hyatt, Accor and Hilton. Together, these partners will introduce 17 hotel brands such as Hilton Garden Inn, Conrad, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, Fairmont, Swissôtel, The Ritz-Carlton, Le Méridien and Four Points by Sheraton.
Adeera Hospitality Management, launched by the Public Investment Fund, is envisioned as a future leader in the sector, combining global standards with traditional Saudi hospitality. The company also focuses on talent development in collaboration with educational and training institutions.
Rua Al Madinah Holding continues to drive real estate development and investment in Madinah, with the goal of creating integrated hospitality and commercial ecosystems. Through the Rua Al Madinah Project, the company aims to expand accommodation capacity near the Prophet’s Mosque to host 30 million visitors, supporting the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
