Record-Breaking Eid Visitors as IMG Launches Summer Adventures 2024
IMG Worlds, Dubai’s premier indoor theme park, has kicked off its summer season with unprecedented success. This Eid Al Adha, IMG Worlds experienced a record-breaking number of visitors, marking the highest attendance in its history for the Eid holiday. The park saw a 9% increase in visitors compared to last year’s Eid Al Adha, thanks to the introduction of two new original characters, Freddy and Flory, the Arabian Desert Foxes.
Rola Osseiran, Group Head of Marketing at IMG Group, remarked, “We promised our visitors that Summer 2024 in Dubai would usher in a new and exciting phase for IMG. The first week of the summer break, coinciding with the long Eid Al Adha weekend, significantly boosted both internal and external tourism in Dubai and the UAE.”
Freddy and Flory, IMG Worlds of Adventure’s latest original creations, have been a massive hit among families. These dynamic Arabian Foxes, designed to raise awareness about their endangered status, lead visitors through the "Call to Adventure Parade," exploring new attractions like “The Jungle Boulevard,” the “Edge of the World Temple,” and the mysterious “Mayan Pyramid.”
“IMG understands the challenges families face during the long summer season with limited options for activities. Our new strategy is to offer a fresh adventure on every visit, ensuring an unforgettable summer for all ages,” Osseiran added.
IMG Worlds is also introducing the Adventure Passport, a novel concept allowing visitors to collect stamps for each adventure they experience, with opportunities to win valuable prizes upon completing all adventures.
