Raytheon Emirates internship empowers students, aligns with United Arab Emirates vision.
The Raytheon Emirates, a Raytheon Technologies subsidiary, has started a second internship program helping the United Arab Emirates idea to develop Emirati talent.
The internship gives students on-the-job practice to support their learning and careers. Six undergraduates joined the program from Abu Dhabi University, Zayed University, and the American University of Sharjah.
Students are being put within Cyber Security, Human Resources, Business Development, Finance, Project Management and Global Trade. The Raytheon Emirates offers an invaluable chance for young ones to work intimately with skilled experts and get exposure to occupations in our industry, said Alan Davis, Raytheon Emirates chief executive.
We must equip students and present them with a career path, and were following those efforts with UAEs vision to encourage future leaders.
The internship lasts seven weeks and will be carried virtually and in-person. Members will receive coaching and guidance from qualified personnel to enhance their skills.
This training will give the knowledge students need to enhance their education, said Fatima Alshamsi, Raytheon Emirates talent acquisition manager. By supporting Emirati youth, we not only fulfil their purposes, but we also encourage leadership development.
Upon conclusion of the program and graduation, trainees have the option of applying for positions within the company. The Raytheon Emirates is dedicated to promoting Emirati talent as part of a diverse multi-national workforce. The companys goal is to place at least 45 per cent Emiratis in top management, engineering and functional areas.
