Paradigm Holdings Expands Global Gold Network with DRC Government Agreement

UAE-headquartered Paradigm Holdings has signed a new gold supply agreement with the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, marking a significant step in the company’s global expansion strategy within the precious metals sector.

The agreement represents Paradigm’s third government-backed partnership with an African nation in the past two years, underscoring its growing presence across key resource-rich markets. The move strengthens the company’s position as an emerging player in the international gold supply chain while deepening ties between Africa and the UAE’s commodities ecosystem.

Operating from the United Arab Emirates—one of the world’s leading hubs for gold trading and refining—Paradigm Holdings is leveraging the country’s strategic advantages to build a fully integrated gold supply and processing network across the Middle East and Africa.

As part of its expansion plans, the company is advancing refinery development projects in Cape Verde, Morocco and Rwanda. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing regional processing capabilities while maintaining strong trade flows through the UAE.

Steven Hawkins, Founder of Paradigm Holdings, highlighted the strategic importance of the UAE base, stating that the country’s infrastructure, regulatory framework and global connectivity provide a strong platform for building transparent and scalable international partnerships.

He added that the agreement with the DRC marks a major milestone for the company, as it continues to establish a long-term supply network aligned with the UAE’s role as a global trading centre.

The development also reflects the UAE’s growing influence in global commodity markets, particularly in gold, with Dubai playing a central role in international trade flows and refining capacity.
