Omniyat, one of Dubai’s leading ultra-luxury developers, has announced significant construction milestones for The Alba, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, marking a major step forward in the development of the beachfront resort since its global debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2024.

Innovo Build LLC, part of the Innovo Group and a prominent name in luxury real estate contracting, has been appointed as the main contractor for the project. Innovo Build also previously led the construction of Omniyat’s prestigious developments on Palm Jumeirah, including AVA at Palm Jumeirah, ORLA, and ORLA Infinity, Dorchester Collection, Dubai.

Peter Stephenson, Co-Managing Director of Omniyat, highlighted the strategic partnership, stating that the company collaborates only with top global talent across design, architecture, hospitality, and construction to uphold its uncompromising standards. He expressed confidence in Innovo’s expertise in delivering The Alba by its projected handover in 2028.

With Innovo now mobilising on site, the project has progressed from groundwork to vertical construction. Raft foundation works are scheduled to begin in December 2025, marking the first major step in the resort’s structural rise. The diaphragm wall and capping beam works are already complete, providing essential support for the future towers.

Excavation and piling activities are advancing in tandem, ensuring coordinated development across the site. Additionally, the residential zones and parts of the landscaped areas are expected to be handed over to Innovo Build in Q4 2025, paving the way for the next phase of construction.

The Alba, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, remains on track for its original completion timeline in 2028, reaffirming Omniyat’s commitment to delivering ultra-luxury real estate shaped by vision, precision, and consistent momentum.
