My design depicts the word together which is very important to Arabic culture. During Ramadan, there is a strong emphasis on family and friends and coffee is always an important part of this. Coming together takes on a greater significance at this time as many people will work for half the day and the rest of their time is spent with family. You will see cousins, grandparents, great grandparents - all coming together after sunset to share a coffee and celebrate.

He goes on to explain: Coffee is a key part of Arabic culture as it is the first thing a guest is offered when they go to a friend or family members house as a sign of hospitality and as a friendly gesture.
