Multiply Group Highlights Strategic Role in AI and Global Collaboration at WEF Annual Meeting

Multiply Group (ADX: MULTIPLY), a prominent Abu Dhabi-based holding company, marked a successful participation in the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, held from January 20 to 24, 2025. Representing the UAE as part of the International Holding Company (IHC) delegation, Multiply Group showcased its commitment to driving growth in future-centric sectors.

The WEF Annual Meeting convenes global leaders to address pressing global and regional issues, including geopolitical shifts, fostering inclusive economic growth, and advancing sustainable energy transitions. This year, artificial intelligence (AI) emerged as a central theme, reflecting its transformative impact on both corporate and government strategies.

AI and Digital Transformation at Multiply Group
Multiply Group, operating in high-growth sectors, has prioritized AI and digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. In 2024, these advancements contributed significantly to achieving an EBITDA uplift target of AED 45 million, accounting for 10% of the total.

Group CEO and Managing Director Samia Bouazza, representing Multiply Group at WEF, engaged in key discussions across the four-day event. She emphasized the importance of platforms like the WEF in fostering global collaboration, stating:
“The World Economic Forum’s annual meeting is a unique opportunity for the UAE to engage on issues shaping the global future. By participating alongside IHC, Multiply Group has gained valuable exposure to global organizations, particularly in consumer discretionary sectors, laying the groundwork for impactful strategic partnerships.”

Bouazza also highlighted the Group’s alignment with AI-driven trends:

UAE Delegation in Davos
Led by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the UAE delegation to WEF comprised over 100 distinguished leaders from government and private sectors. This high-level participation emphasized the nation’s proactive role in addressing global challenges and promoting innovation.
