MOU signed by IMA with PICPA ME Federation in Support of the Finance and Accounting Profession

IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize ties with the Middle East Federation. The agreement will witness both institutions working together to strengthen the management accounting knowledge base in the Middle East region. As part of the affiliation, PICPA ME Federation will offer the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification to its members as part of its social responsibility to the PICPA ME Federation community, especially to its members and students who are seeking to professionally upskill themselves as management accountants. This development affirms the Philippines vision and continued efforts to develop itself as a financial centre.

This partnership will further strengthen the relationship between IMA and PICPA ME Federation which dates back several years. Finance professionals play an important role in building business confidence and as the Philippines economy continues to grow, the role of the function in that region will continue to grow in importance.
