Mohanlal named brand ambassador as Vinsmera Jewels launches in Dubai
South Indian film legend Mohanlal has been announced as the brand ambassador of Vinsmera Jewels, a new and ambitious gold retail chain that officially launched its international operations in Dubai. The inaugural showroom and global headquarters were opened in Dubai, marking the brand’s second outlet following its debut in Calicut, Kerala.

With over 45 years of stardom, Mohanlal's association lends immense brand value, aligning with Vinsmera’s vision of blending tradition with contemporary tastes. The brand plans to expand rapidly with half a dozen showrooms across GCC countries, followed by a global rollout covering the USA, Canada, Europe, and the Far East.
Vinsmera Jewels is the brainchild of four brothers — Dinesh Kambrath, Krishnan Kambrath, Anil Kambrath, and Manoj Kambrath — hailing from Kannur district in Kerala. The founding team brings over 25 years of expertise in gold ornament manufacturing in both the UAE and India.
At the launch event, the management emphasized that Vinsmera aims to redefine jewellery design by offering collections tailored for men, inspired by the personal style of Mohanlal. The brand promises to challenge the traditional notion that gold jewellery is predominantly for women.
What sets Vinsmera Jewels apart from other gold networks is its commitment to sustainability — the brand uses green energy across its factory and retail premises as part of its broader social responsibility efforts.
Upcoming outlets in Sharjah, Bur Dubai, and Abu Dhabi are already in the pipeline and expected to open soon. The company has announced a planned investment of AED 1 billion, with a vision to create 5,000 new job opportunities in the near future.
