Modon Sells Out First Phase of Maysan Freehold Development on Reem Island Within Hours

Modon has announced the complete sell-out of phase one of its newly launched high-end freehold residential development, Maysan, on Reem Island within hours of its release. The project, which is open to buyers of all nationalities, introduces innovative residential options that cater to Abu Dhabi’s growing demand for unique housing solutions.

The first phase includes two districts: Mayar, featuring stacked maisonettes—a first for Abu Dhabi—and Thoraya, catering to the demand for spacious townhouses. Together, these districts present 132 stacked maisonettes and 185 townhouses, drawing strong investor interest in Modon's latest urban offering.

Bill O’Regan, Group CEO of Modon Holding, shared, “Modon is dedicated to building vibrant communities across Abu Dhabi, enhancing the UAE capital’s global appeal. With Maysan, we’re reimagining urban living, responding to market demands, and contributing to Abu Dhabi’s stature as a premier place to live, work, and invest.”

Maysan will ultimately feature six distinct residential districts, with homes ranging from three- to five-bedroom units, and an extensive list of lifestyle amenities. Designed for families, professionals, investors, and expats, the development emphasizes wellness and holistic living. Residents will have access to a community center, park, beach areas, and a pedestrian-friendly green spine connecting the entire development.

Ibrahim Al Maghribi, CEO of Modon Real Estate, expressed pride in the strong demand for Maysan’s first phase, stating, “Maysan is set to become a thriving community offering residents an unmatched lifestyle, blending leisure and healthy living in an exclusive setting.”

Phase one buyers can look forward to exclusive amenities. Mayar provides resort-style living with maisonettes nestled within a gated community, while Thoraya offers private townhouses featuring communal gardens, play areas, and fitness facilities.
