Abu Dhabi is preparing for this upcoming Tuesday to launch the activations of the largest and most significant event in the world of hunting, equestrian and preservation of culture and heritage, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). The upcoming edition is the 17thone and is being held under the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of Emirates Falconers Club at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from 27th to 31st August 2019. This years slogan is "Together to Consolidate Sustainable Hunting Initiatives.

During a press conference held a week ago, the Higher Organizing Committee of the exhibition reported more details on the different activations, events, prizes and surprises that will be devoted towards enlightening and entertaining all the member of the families with cultural heritage activities that will be the largest of its kind, with prizes worth more than 1 million dirhams.

The 17th edition of the exhibition will be held on 45, 000 meters squared, with more than 650 local and international companies and brands participating this year. These brands will be dispersed throughout eleven sectors that are:Arts and Crafts, Equestrian, Falconry, Hunting and Camping Equipment, Hunting Guns, Hunting Tourism and Safari, Outdoor Leisure Vehicles and Equipment, Promotion and Preservation of Cultural Heritage, Veterinary Products and Services, Fishing and Marine Sports and Media. This is in addition to a dedicated Arena for dog, horses and camels shows.

For the first time in the exhibition, Emirates Falconers Club, the organizers of the event will also launch a Falcon Auction that will be held on a daily basis. Moreover, the first ever International Dog Show in the UAE will also be launchedthis year. The purpose of these shows is to give the audience and visitors an opportunity to watch more than 200 dog competitors thatare trained from more than 15 countries. Workshops and seminars will also provide a great learning experience from global experts at the event through the workshop on The Illegal Trafficking of Birds of Prey.

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is organized by Emirates Falconers Club.
