KEF Holdings Faizal & Shabana Foundation, with the Government Vocational Higher Higher Secondary School (GHSS) for Girls, Nadakkavu in Kozhikode, Kerala, have set a fresh milestone in their education assistance programmes, placing second place in India among all public day schools for the whole of excellence.

Since then, the school has continuously ranked among the top ten in the Indian School ranking in the Education World (EW) ranking.

In the rankings of the EW India School, the Nadakkavu college, now a flagship teacher in education in India focusing on the overall growth of schoolchildren, has obtained a rating of 1061. We see these learners as well as well-rounded people who can make an incredible contribution to society.

The Faizal & Shabana Foundation has earned global recognition for its contribution to the transformation of the GVHSS School. The achievement of the Nadakkavu School resulted Kerala to use it as a scalable example to transform 1,000 state government colleges. This research is now component of the Corporate Entrepreneurship curriculum at the University of Strathclyde.

The Faizal & Shabana Foundation undertook a path-breaking yet cost efficient renovation of the then-dilapidated college. With off-site production and precast, modular technology, the entire college was converted in record time. The Foundation has also implemented better sports equipment including an sport field, contemporary libraries, sophisticated laboratories, an interactive science centre.

There are regular other interventions, including teacher training, vocational training, training for school ambassadors, teacher and student learning, and programs for the exchange of information. Soon after the restoration the college recorded a 100% increase in enrollments and an increase in outcomes of over 400%.
