The appointment marks a strategic step in strengthening the firm’s on-the-ground expertise, reflecting growing confidence in the region as a key driver of its international growth strategy.
Sabrina, who joined the firm in 2020, previously served as a Senior Portfolio Strategist in London, where she played a central role in portfolio construction and strategy development. Her relocation to Dubai signals a shift toward closer client engagement across regional markets.
Enhancing Client-Focused Investment Expertise
In her new role, Sabrina will work closely with regional teams to provide portfolio construction guidance, asset allocation insights, and investment strategy expertise across the firm’s product offerings.
Her appointment comes amid increasing demand from institutional and intermediary clients for tailored investment solutions and high-quality advisory support in navigating evolving market conditions.
Expanding Regional Footprint
The move underscores Janus Henderson’s continued focus on deepening relationships across the Middle East, while also expanding its presence in GCC and African markets.
With operations in the region since 2012, the firm has steadily increased its investment in local talent and infrastructure. Recent developments include new senior hires and the launch of an office in Abu Dhabi in 2025, highlighting a broader strategy to build regional capabilities and proximity to clients.
The expansion is being led by Meshal Al Faras, Managing Director and Head of the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, who emphasised the importance of having technical expertise on the ground to meet evolving client needs.
Strong Experience And Global Perspective
Sabrina brings over a decade of experience to the role, including her tenure at Goldman Sachs in London, where she specialised in portfolio construction and analytics tools.
At Janus Henderson, she has contributed to growth initiatives across EMEA and Latin America, supporting clients through portfolio reviews, strategic positioning, and investment education.
Ignacio De La Maza, Head of EMEA & LatAm Client Group, noted that her relocation enhances the firm’s ability to translate global insights into practical portfolio solutions for regional clients.
Positioning For Future Growth
The appointment reflects Janus Henderson’s broader strategy of investing in talent, expertise, and regional presence to support clients in an increasingly complex investment landscape.
As demand rises for disciplined portfolio management and customised investment strategies, the firm continues to position itself as a trusted partner for clients across the Middle East, reinforcing confidence in the region’s long-term growth potential.
