Jackys Electronics achieves 5% sales increase at Gitex Shopper Spring Edition 2016
Jacky's Electronics, the UAE's leading multi-brand consumer electronic electronics, participation at this year's Gitex Shopper Spring Edition ended on a high note with a 5 percent boost in sales over the exact same duration in 2015.
The notebook classification particularly the 2-in-1 PCs were the most saleable items followed by the mobile phone category. The cooking area appliances at Gitex Shopper's Smart Living Session also attained great sales across the four-day event.

At the event, the business released the first-ever Smart Chef competition where more than 500 entries were initially received. There were 60 entrants who flaunted live food preparation demos of different cuisines. All competitors who made it to leading 60 received smart phones and smart kitchen devices from Jackys in addition to restaurant coupons from Zomato.
The competition was judged by Uwe Micheel, Director of Kitchens Radisson Blu Hotel, Deira, Chef Asif from Le Meridien, Chef Jeevan from Suba Hotels and Ritu Chaturvedi.
Sofi Pickhard emerged as the very first Smart Chef champ followed by Ahlaam Altamaare and Vishakha Khandelwal. The leading three finalists won home appliances worth AED33,000 in total with the grand winner taking home a home appliances from Electrolux worth AED15,000; second prize worth 11,000 and 3rd reward worth AED 7000.
