InfraX and e& Sign MoU to Enhance Dubai’s Digital Connectivity Landscape
InfraX, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA – the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) – has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e&, a global technology group, to advance Dubai’s connectivity infrastructure. The strategic partnership aims to co-develop and commercialize cutting-edge connectivity and infrastructure solutions, including private cellular networks, to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global digital hub.
The MoU was signed during GITEX Global 2025 between Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice Chairman – Digital & Group CEO of Digital DEWA, and Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer, e& UAE.
Under the agreement, InfraX and e& will leverage their combined expertise to deliver next-generation network solutions designed to support Dubai’s smart city vision. The collaboration will focus on developing scalable and secure connectivity ecosystems that enhance operational efficiency for enterprises and government entities across the emirate.
Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “This partnership marks a significant milestone in our mission to empower Dubai’s digital economy through world-class connectivity infrastructure. By joining forces with e&, we are creating new opportunities to deliver secure and scalable network solutions that will enhance the future of smart city innovation in Dubai.”
Masood M. Sharif Mahmood added, “Dubai has long been a testbed for ideas on how nations can build the next generation of digital infrastructure. Our partnership with InfraX unites two national champions in creating a unified network fabric that connects people, systems, and industries. Together, we aim to deliver private 5.5G networks and IoT solutions that enhance efficiency, resilience, and innovation across multiple sectors.”
The collaboration will center around several strategic pillars, including market expansion, infrastructure synergy, and go-to-market integration. Both entities will work jointly to co-develop innovative digital products and services, establish joint commercial models, and create partner programs to strengthen customer engagement.
Aligned with Dubai’s regulatory and governance frameworks, the partnership reinforces the city’s commitment to technological excellence, ensuring the development of a secure, connected, and future-ready digital ecosystem.
