IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 Secure AED 3.97 Billion in Deals on Opening Day
The opening day of IDEX and NAVDEX 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, witnessed the signing of 13 contracts worth AED 3.97 billion with both local and international companies.
The agreements were finalized by Tawazun Council, the government entity responsible for acquisition, procurement, and contract management for the Ministry of Defense and security agencies. The announcement was made during a press conference led by Tawazun Council spokespersons Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi, Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi, and Mahra Belal Al Dhaheri.
IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 are organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and Tawazun Council.
Local Contracts Totaling AED 3.825 Billion
Mahra Belal Al Dhaheri revealed that the total value of local contracts on the first day amounted to nine deals worth AED 3.825 billion. Key agreements included:

International Golden Group (IGG): Ammunition procurement worth AED 685.8 million.

Thales Emarat Technologies: Purchase of spare parts, materials, and provision of maintenance and technical support valued at AED 110.5 million.

EDGE Group: Data provisioning program and smart services valued at AED 399.4 million.

Calidus Land Systems: Procurement of multi-role vehicle MTAV 4X4 worth AED 1.809 billion.

Al Masaood: Purchase of spare parts, materials, and provision of maintenance and technical assistance services valued at AED 20 million.

National Marine Dredging Company: Acquisition of unmanned platforms worth AED 299.2 million.

Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL): Technical support, maintenance, repair, and spare parts services worth AED 53 million.

International Golden Group and MP3: Procurement of pilot missions, aircraft rescue equipment, and spare parts valued at AED 309 million.

Injazat Data Systems: Provision of digital transformation services worth AED 138.7 million.
International Contracts Valued at AED 143.4 Million
Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi announced that the total value of international contracts signed on the first day reached AED 143.4 million across four deals:

Patria Land Systems Oy (Finland): Technical support, repair services, and spare parts supply for Patria vehicles, valued at AED 21 million.

Rheinmetall Electronics (Germany): Technical support for maintenance, repair, spare parts supply, logistics services, and sustainment of the tactical engagement system, worth AED 71.8 million.

Rheinmetall Air Defense (Switzerland): Repair, maintenance, and spare parts supply for air defense systems, valued at AED 18.6 million.

Maxar Intelligence (United States): Satellite imagery leasing services, worth AED 31.9 million.
