H.E. Mohammed Alardhi appointed chairman of RoyalJet
RoyalJet, the Abu Dhabi-based global premium private jet operator, has announced the appointment of His Excellency Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Alardhi as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors.
A distinguished business leader, Alardhi currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Investcorp, a leading global alternative investment firm. Under his stewardship since 2015, Investcorp has expanded its assets under management from US$10 billion to US$60 billion, with operations spanning New York, London, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Mumbai, Delhi, Beijing, Singapore, and Japan.
In addition to his role at Investcorp, Alardhi chairs the Muscat Stock Exchange and the Board of Trustees of the College of Banking and Financial Studies in Muscat. His extensive leadership background also includes a decorated military career as the youngest and longest-serving Chief of the Oman Air Force. A retired Air Vice Marshall, he was honored with the prestigious ‘Order of Oman’ by the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said in 2000.
Alardhi holds a Bachelor of Science in Military Science from the Royal Air Force UK Staff College in Bracknell, a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and is an alumnus of the Royal Air Force Military Academy in Cranwell and the National Defence University in Washington, D.C.
The RoyalJet Board of Directors also includes H.E. Hisham Khalid Towfiq Abdulkhaliq Malak, H.E. Sameera Murshed Al Romaithi, Ahmed Mohamed Darweesh Binkaram Al Qubaisi, and Mohamed Saeed Al Remeithi.
With Alardhi’s appointment, RoyalJet is poised to strengthen its strategic vision and reinforce its position as a global leader in luxury aviation.
