Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) have explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in institutional innovation, capacity development, and the exchange of expertise to enhance government excellence and institutional performance.

The discussions took place during a visit by a GDRFA Dubai delegation, led by H.E. Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, to the Foundation's headquarters in Dubai.

Focus on Innovation and Government Excellence

The delegation was welcomed by H.E. Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hamdan Foundation, H.E. Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, and H.E. Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Member of the Board of Trustees.

During the visit, GDRFA Dubai officials were introduced to the Foundation's flagship initiatives and programs in education, giftedness, innovation, and talent development, alongside its efforts to strengthen institutional capabilities and promote a culture of excellence and creativity.

Exploring Areas of Cooperation

The meeting included presentations on several of the Foundation's key projects, followed by discussions on opportunities for collaboration and the exchange of best practices in areas of mutual interest.

The two entities explored ways to strengthen institutional integration, support national efforts to improve government services, and further embed a culture of innovation across the public sector.

Strengthening National Partnerships

H.E. Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Muhairi said collaboration among national institutions plays a vital role in advancing government development and achieving sustainable development goals.

He noted that sharing knowledge and expertise helps improve the quality of initiatives and services while strengthening institutional readiness to address future challenges.

Dr. Al Muhairi added that the Foundation remains committed to expanding partnerships with national institutions, emphasizing that integrated efforts and knowledge exchange are essential to building a more innovative and sustainable institutional ecosystem.

He described the visit as a reflection of both organizations' commitment to exploring new opportunities that support shared objectives and contribute to the UAE's continued development.

For his part, H.E. Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri reaffirmed the importance of strategic partnerships in enhancing government performance and promoting the exchange of successful experiences that drive institutional innovation and improve service quality.
