Hamdan Foundation Advances 161 Submissions to Judging Stage for 2025 Medical Awards
The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has officially completed the screening phase for the 2025 Medical Awards, moving 161 qualified submissions to the judging stage. This year's awards cycle, which aims to recognize innovation and excellence in healthcare, received an impressive 330 submissions from 18 countries, underscoring the program’s growing global prestige.
Applications came from countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Oman, Iraq, India, the UK, the US, and several others across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Following a rigorous two-stage review process, 261 submissions advanced past the initial screening, with 161 meeting the criteria to proceed to the next phase — judging, which is set to take place between June 2 and October 15, 2025.
Commitment to Excellence and Transparency
Dr. Salama Al Muhairi, Director of Medical Excellence at the Foundation, emphasized that the evaluation process adheres to strict standards of transparency and impartiality. “Our goal is to highlight groundbreaking achievements that contribute meaningfully to medical research and healthcare practices,” she said.
Specialized judging panels comprising leading international experts will now evaluate submissions based on category-specific criteria, ensuring that only the most impactful work is recognized.
