Gallega Global Logistics Opens 215,000 sq. ft. 3PL Logistics Hub at Jafza

Gallega Global Logistics has officially inaugurated a new 215,000 sq. ft. multi-user third-party logistics (3PL) hub at Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), strengthening regional supply chain infrastructure and expanding logistics capacity across the UAE and GCC markets.

The newly launched facility is designed to support advanced fulfilment operations through large-scale multi-user warehousing, integrated warehouse management systems, flexible storage capabilities, and technology-enabled logistics services.

According to the company, the logistics hub is expected to generate more than 200 jobs while improving access to regional and international trade routes through Jafza’s multimodal logistics ecosystem.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ghassan Aboud, Chairman of Ghassan Aboud Holding, and Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global COO – Parks and Economic Zones at DP World, alongside senior executives and business leaders from the logistics, automotive, and banking sectors.

Speaking at the launch, Ghassan Aboud said the new logistics hub marks a major milestone in the company’s strategic partnership with DP World and reflects its long-term commitment to strengthening supply chains across the region.

He added that the facility combines advanced infrastructure with technology-driven operations to deliver scalable logistics solutions that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and customer service.

Meanwhile, Abdulla Al Hashmi highlighted the growing need for supply chain flexibility and resilience amid ongoing geopolitical uncertainty and changing global trade flows.

He noted that investments in logistics infrastructure around Jafza help businesses maintain continuity, improve response times, and manage disruption more effectively as regional and international trade dynamics evolve.

The new hub forms part of a broader strategic collaboration between Ghassan Aboud Holding and DP World GCC focused on delivering integrated and technology-enabled logistics solutions tailored to rising regional demand.

Sara Rachid, CEO of Gallega Global Logistics, described the project as a strategic step in expanding the company’s logistics footprint through free zone-based multi-user warehousing solutions.

She said the facility supports Gallega’s growth ambitions both within the UAE and internationally, while enhancing operational capabilities to provide faster, more efficient, and flexible logistics services across multiple markets.

The company expects the logistics hub to significantly improve delivery speeds, strengthen service quality, and enhance supply chain resilience for both regional and international operations.
