F5 And Forcepoint Partner To Secure Enterprise AI Across Its Lifecycle

F5 and Forcepoint have announced a strategic partnership to deliver end-to-end AI security, helping enterprises protect systems from data creation through to runtime operations.

The collaboration aims to address growing security challenges as organizations accelerate the adoption of AI across copilots, assistants, and automated workflows, where traditional security frameworks often struggle to keep pace.

Bridging Data Security And Runtime Protection

The partnership combines Forcepoint’s AI-native Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities with F5’s application security and runtime protection technologies within its Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP).

This integrated approach connects data discovery, classification, and governance with real-time enforcement and monitoring, enabling organizations to maintain visibility and control over sensitive enterprise data throughout the AI lifecycle.

By aligning previously siloed areas such as data governance, application security, and runtime protection, the solution helps eliminate gaps between security policies and how AI systems behave in production environments.

Real-Time Risk Detection And Continuous Assurance

The combined capabilities allow enterprises to identify data vulnerabilities in real time, prioritize AI use cases based on risk, and enforce policies across AI applications, APIs, and agents.

Through continuous monitoring and telemetry, organizations can detect abnormal behavior, misuse, and emerging threats, while ensuring AI systems remain compliant with internal governance frameworks.

John Maddison stated that the partnership enables enterprises to close operational security gaps by combining deep data intelligence with advanced runtime protections, particularly as AI-driven threat surfaces continue to expand.

Naveen Palavalli emphasized that AI is redefining data security, requiring continuous and adaptive protection models that evolve alongside AI systems and their associated risks.

Securing AI From Data To Deployment

At the foundation, Forcepoint’s platform enables organizations to discover, classify, and govern sensitive data across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments. This helps determine which data is suitable for AI use and where stricter controls are required.

F5 extends protection into production environments by securing APIs, applications, gateways, and AI agents, using capabilities such as AI Red Teaming and AI Guardrails to monitor systems, detect prompt abuse, prevent data exfiltration, and defend against evolving threats.

Together, the two companies offer a continuous security model that ensures AI systems are built on trusted data and remain protected throughout their operational lifecycle.

Enabling Secure AI Adoption At Scale

The partnership provides enterprises with a practical pathway to adopt AI securely without overhauling existing security architectures. By integrating data intelligence with runtime enforcement, organizations can scale AI initiatives while maintaining compliance, visibility, and control.

F5 is showcasing the joint solution at the RSA Conference, highlighting innovations designed to help businesses secure AI-driven transformation in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
