ENOC Switches off Lights for Earth Hour 2016
Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) participated in Dubai Earth Hour on March 19th, 2016 from 8.30-9.30 pm through a variety of initiatives. Efforts to assist decrease electricity intake included switching off lights for an hour at gas station fore court, convenient store Quick Oil Change (QOC)and carwash locations in all 112 ENOC/EPPCO service stations across Dubai and Northern Emirates.
Furthermore, lights and non-essential electrical devices at ENOC complex were turned off during the exact same duration, lowering intake by a total of 3.4 MWh and co2 emission by 1.7 tonnes throughout Dubai's Earth Hour 2016.
