Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, celebrates Emirati Women’s Day under the theme "We Collaborate for Tomorrow." This theme aligns with the UAE's "Year of Sustainability" initiative, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to sustainability and collaboration for the future.

His Excellency Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, praised the significant contributions of Emirati women to the nation’s development, particularly in the fields of sustainability and climate change mitigation. "Emirati women are at the forefront of achieving sustainable development," said Bin Shafar, highlighting their leadership in sustainability initiatives within Empower. He expressed pride in the fact that Emirati women are integral to all aspects of Empower’s operations, from production to distribution, and play a key role in the company's sustainable initiatives.

Women hold senior positions across the company's administrative functions, with Emirati women comprising more than 62% of Empower’s female workforce. Their representation extends across various job titles within the company’s subsidiaries, showcasing the breadth of their contributions.

Bin Shafar commended the exceptional achievements of Emirati women, emphasizing their crucial roles in the nation’s history and future. He noted the UAE’s commitment to gender equality and the growing recognition of women’s essential roles in various sectors. The country’s leadership has consistently supported women’s empowerment, enabling them to contribute significantly alongside men in building a strong, sustainable nation.
