Emirates Health Services (EHS) is demonstrating its commitment to revolutionizing healthcare through digital transformation at GITEX Global 2024, held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 14-18. H.E. Mubaraka Ibrahim, Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence and Acting Chief Information Officer at EHS, emphasized that EHS’s participation showcases the organization’s leadership in adopting cutting-edge technologies to create a smart healthcare ecosystem. EHS aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services, streamline processes, and elevate the patient experience, all while aligning with the "Zero Government Bureaucracy" initiative and supporting the UAE's Sustainable Development Goals.

  • Predictive Patient Monitoring Using IoT: EHS introduced a revolutionary system that monitors patients’ vital signs in real-time using AI and machine learning. This predictive model provides instant health alerts and recommendations for timely medical interventions.

  • Surgical Performance Dashboard: Utilizing 14 key indicators, this dashboard evaluates surgeons' performance and outcomes, promoting transparency and encouraging continuous improvement in patient care.

  • “Tele Stroke” AI System: This smart solution identifies strokes through AI, reducing treatment times and enhancing recovery rates by connecting various CT scan facilities to specialized medical teams.

  • Clinic Optimization Project: Using predictive analytics and real-time data, this project improves clinic performance, reduces patient wait times, and enhances resource allocation and efficiency.

  • E-Transfer System: EHS’s new electronic patient transfer system accelerates and streamlines transfers between healthcare facilities, improving service delivery.

  • Smart Application Updates: Enhancements to EHS’s app allow users to book appointments, access medical records, and receive test results instantly, advancing the goal of eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy.
