Episode 6 of El Beits second season aired at 9pm on Monday, December 15. The episode kicked off with the judges wishing both Bahrain and Qatar a Happy National Day, as all Gulf countries join in their celebrations of unity.
The episode continued by welcoming Fahad Al Aebani from Saudi Arabia, who won AED 200,000 and was presented with a trophy for composing the favorite chater of the judges as well as the guest of honor in the previous episode. In addition, Saleh Al Sakran from Saudi Arabia - who won the Nabd Al Soura Imagery Pulse competition - was presented with a trophy and a cheque for AED 100,000.
Mr Majid Abdul Rahman Al Bastaki, the shows General Coordinator said: The shows spirit uncovers outstanding poetry and ideas expressed through each poets unique psyche and imagination, in an outpouring of sincere emotions.
He added: This weeks participants showcased their emotional experiences by telling a real story. They are now showing the innovation behind the poetry, to reflect the other half of the chater.
The winner selected this week by the judges from the Golden Screen is Fahad Al Zoubi from Kuwait, who won AED 100,000. His impressive grasp of deep symbolic concepts qualified him into the Grand Finale episode where he stands to win AED 1 million.
Last weeks Nabd Al Soura Imagery Pulse competition featured an image that was personally captured by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The first prize of AED 100,000 went to Ghazi Al Khamri from Kuwait, who qualified for the Grand Finale episode and an opportunity to win AED 1 million. The judges expressed their delight after seeing the rhythmical poetic expression in the poem.
Judge Hamad Al Kharusi explained: Ghazi showed a remarkable mastery of the sentimental tools of poetry, using short descriptions while maintaining deep meaning in his words. In addition he captured a brilliant concept that encapsulated the image in just one sentence.
The co-host for El Beits second season, Emirati poet Ahmed Al Bidwawi, introduced this weeks guest, Mohammed Al Qahtani - a renowned Nabati poet from Saudi Arabia. Expressing his delight, Al Qahtani pointed out: The collective efforts on the show have blossomed into a successful second season. Finally Al Qahtani selected Talq Al Dajaani from Saudi Arabia as the winner of AED 100,000 for the best chater.
