Dulsco Group, a UAE-based leader in environmental solutions, people solutions, talent solutions, and energy recruitment solutions, has strengthened its commitment to sustainability by increasing the biofuel content of its diesel fleet. The company has transitioned 75 vehicles from BS95 to BS93, raising the biofuel blend from 5% to 7% with the use of Neutral Fuels’ biodiesel.

This move aligns with Dulsco Group’s dedication to reducing carbon emissions and supporting the UAE’s sustainability goals, including the Net Zero 2050 strategy. By adopting a higher biodiesel blend, Dulsco is actively contributing to carbon reduction efforts in the UAE and promoting a circular economy.

Antony Marke, COO of Dulsco People, highlighted the company’s environmental commitment, stating, “As a purpose-driven company, we believe that every step towards sustainability has a lasting impact. Increasing our biofuel blend is a significant milestone in our mission to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner planet.”

By partnering with Neutral Fuels, Dulsco People successfully reduced 267,934.96 kilograms of CO₂e emissions in 2024 alone. This reduction is equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 4,430 tree seedlings grown for 10 years and the removal of 62.5 fossil-fueled cars from the road for a year.

Dulsco Environment’s recycling of waste cooking oil into biodiesel to fuel its fleet is a prime example of the UAE Circular Economy Policy in action. Since 2018, Dulsco Group has been proactively minimizing its carbon footprint through comprehensive emissions assessments, covering energy consumption, fleet management, and facility operations. This latest initiative further strengthens the company’s leadership in sustainable fleet management and reinforces its role in the UAE’s transition toward a greener future.
