Ducab invites Emiratis to explore rewarding career opportunities at Tawdheef 2015

Dubai, United Arab Emirates; February 3, 2015: Ducab, the Middle Easts leading manufacturer of high quality cables and cabling products, invites Emiratis to visit its stand (#AC20) at Tawdheef 2015, which will be held from February 2-4 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The presence at the exhibition will be aligned with the investment showcase by Ducab parent, Abu Dhabis Senaat, which owns 50 per cent of Ducab alongside the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD).

Through their presence at Tawdheef 2015, Ducab is looking to fill 49 positions, giving Emirati talent the opportunity to work within a company that is a pioneer in the UAE manufacturing sectors prowess. Available job roles will include Scholarships, Graduate Trainee (Technical & Non- Technical), and Full Time Experienced, amongst others.

Muna Fekri, Head of Human Resources at Ducab, commented: In 2014, Ducabs heightened Emiratisation efforts saw the company boost the percentage of UAE nationals working within the company to 19 percent. The companys Emiratisation policy is driven by career progression and retention strategies, which ensure a rewarding vocational experience for employees. Ducab has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UAE Ministry of Higher Education to nurture Emirati talent in the engineering fields such as Mecatronics ,Mechanical, Technical & Electrical, by providing them with international scholarships to bolster their existing skills.

Graduates are offered four paths of entry into working with Ducab: as a summer trainee, on an internship or work placement, on an Engineer Student Scholarship, or as part of Ducabs feted Graduate Trainee Programme.
