Dubai South Launches Advanced Multiuser Facilities to Boost Regional Logistics Sector

Dubai South, the UAE’s largest single-urban master development centered on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has unveiled a cutting-edge multiuser facility within its Logistics District. This strategic launch aims to accelerate regional logistics growth and support the operational needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), e-commerce players, and international traders.

Spanning an expansive 215,278 square feet, the new facility features flexible, air-conditioned, and combinable units, designed to accommodate a diverse range of business requirements. With options of 2,152 sq. ft. and 3,767 sq. ft., the modular layout offers scalability, allowing companies to expand as their operations grow.

Strategically located within Dubai South’s freight forwarding zone, the facility is in close proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port. It also offers direct access to major highways across the UAE, enabling businesses to streamline transportation, reduce lead times, and ensure operational efficiency.

Commenting on the development, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, stated:

“At Dubai South, we are committed to empowering businesses with innovative, flexible, and sustainable solutions that drive growth and operational efficiency. The launch of our new multiuser facilities underscores our commitment to supporting SMEs by providing strategically located, state-of-the-art infrastructure that meets the evolving demands of the regional and global markets.”

Designed with sustainability and functionality in mind, the facility allows for easy fit-out customization and provides ground-level access for smooth logistics handling. Additionally, on-site retail outlets and essential amenities enhance the ease of operations for employees and partners alike.

The facility is set for completion and tenant handover by Q1 2026, and is part of Dubai South’s broader strategy to build a thriving ecosystem that supports supply chain agility, digital trade, and global logistics excellence. The district also hosts EZDubai, a specialized e-commerce zone; a Contract Logistics Zone; and offers bonded corridor access to Jebel Ali Port, reinforcing its integrated, multimodal logistics infrastructure.

By offering world-class infrastructure, seamless connectivity, and tailored support, Dubai South continues to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global logistics hub and catalyst for regional economic development.
