Dubai Culture supports international artistry at World Art Dubai 2015
The Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirates dedicated entity for heritage, culture and the arts, is supporting the much-anticipated artistic event, World Art Dubai, which is taking place until April 11, 2015 across the city through various creative activities.
World Art Dubai, an event designed to unite global artists with Dubais international community, is part of Dubai Arts Season, the umbrella arts initiative by Dubai Culture. The event provides a platform for aspiring and established artists of all genres to showcase their innovative talent through a unique fusion of art, education and entertainment, at key locations across the city.
Dubai Culture is committed to providing a platform for art lovers to have access to spectacular artistic pieces from all over the world comprising paintings and prints, photography, sculpture and urban art elements.
As Dubais newest art fair concept, World Art Dubai houses countless works by leading Emirati artists in its affordable collection of several hundred modern and contemporary pieces from more than 100 international artists and galleries from over 25 countries.
Created to enriching Dubais cultural scene by delivering and maintaining a sustainable ecosystem of diverse arts events, Dubai Art Season strives to preserve the aspects of Emirati heritage by nurturing local talents to enhance the citys cultural diversity and social cohesion.
World Art Dubais debut event runs until April 11, 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
