DSS World Premiere of Wun Wabbit Wun show continues to delight families at City Centre Deira

Since it kicked off on 8 August, the DSS World Premiere of BUGS BUNNY in Wun Wabbit Wun has been filling the atmosphere with cheer and happiness, as families flock to the mall daily in search of unbeatable Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) discounts and promotions on a wide range of merchandise.
Comic nuances of popular Looney Tunes characters BUGS BUNNY and ELMER FUDD are bringing out the smiles on the faces of all the shoppers of all ages and nationalities who are rushing to the mall to enjoy the fantastic entertainment treat with their families and friends.

Running until 17 August with three 20-minute stage shows daily at 5:30pm, 7:30pm and 9:30pm, the shows are a huge draw especially for children who are ensuring they dont miss the opportunity to join the iconic chase between the hunter ELMER FUDD and the amusing rabbit BUGS BUNNY. The family-friendly act comes as part of the on-going DSS celebrations, which kicked off on 23 July and run until 5 September, under the theme, 45 Days of Summer.

After watching the show, kids are then making their way to the fun-filled Looney Tunes themed workshops to engage in a series of creative activities while making new friends. From drawing and colouring on Looney Tunes templates to designing their own BUGS BUNNY masks and paper carrots kids have plenty of exciting activities to choose from between 2pm and 10pm daily until 17 August 2015.
Sofia from Australia, who attended the workshop with her 4-year-old son Thomas, said, My son has really enjoyed the workshop as it is both engaging and educational. He watches the Bugs Bunny show on TV so he was looking forward to drawing and colouring the rabbit on the templates here at the workshop.

My child loves intermingling with little kids and I am glad we came to the workshop because it teaches children how to interact with each other, help one another and in the process make new friends. The other advantage of this activity is that the area is huge and gives every child ample space to freely enjoy any activity they like, she added.

Adding to what his mother said, 4-year-old Thomas, said, I would like to come here every day as I had an amazing time. I get to watch my favourite cartoon character on the big screen and also get to play with other children.
Monib Mubasher, a 5-year-old boy from Pakistan seemed to be very excited about the workshop and the carrot he made out of paper. He said, I created this carrot myself and I also got the chance to colour it and draw a picture of Bugs Bunny; he is my favourite cartoon character and I watch him on TV all the time.

Monibs father, Dr. Mubasher, said, This workshop is perfect for children especially during the summer as it offers them the opportunity to engage in different activities they truly enjoy. They are also held under the supervision of a trained staff so they can ask for help if they need it. I chose to bring my son to the workshop as here he gets the chance to interact with other kids and engage in various art activities, such as drawing and coloring. I think such workshops should take place all the time.

Abdul Khalik, a 7-year-old boy from Algeria, who came to City Centre Deira with his father, Abu Bakr and 5-year-old brother Raham, were also spotted having an amazing time at the workshop. They said that the workshop really caught their attention given its attractive and eye-catching Looney Tunes themed dcor.

Abu Bakr said, We have come to Dubai on a holiday and I find this city to be very beautiful and it becomes even more beautiful every year. What I really like about Dubai is that it offers amazing events and activities that are suitable for the entire family. While grown-ups can shop and take advantage of the amazing discounts at shopping malls, children can spend time doing things they enjoy the most.
On his part, Abdul Khalik said, My brother and I love drawing and we are really happy to be at this workshop as there are so many coloring tools we can use to create our own rabbit masks. I will ask my father to bring me here again.
