The complete acquisition of Maarif, Saudi Arabias largest private school group, made by GEMS Education and Hassana

GEMS Education KSA, a joint endeavor company possessed by the General Organisation for Social Insurance (GOSI) and GEMS Education, completed the acquisition of Maarif Education and Training Company (Maarif).

Maarif private schools, established in 1391H /1971 in Saudi Arabia, have over 40 years of experience in school management, with more than 13 campuses across the Kingdom and more than 20,000 students enrolled.

In accordance with Saudis Vision 2030, the responsibility of the new shareholders to improving private education in KSA, together with Maarifs long-standing reputation for high-quality education, made for an alluring partnership in Saudi Arabia.

Saad Alfadly, Chairman of the joint venture company, GEMS Education KSA, stated: We look forward to working with teachers, students and parents who are currently enrolled in Maarif schools and we are excited about welcoming new families.
