Coffee Planet promotes Ahmed Khalifa as Sales Director to support regional expansion

Dubai-based Coffee Planet has announced the promotion of Ahmed Khalifa to the role of Sales Director, as the company strengthens its leadership structure to support the next phase of growth across the GCC and international markets.

The appointment comes as Coffee Planet continues expanding its presence across the horeca, retail, and corporate coffee sectors, while scaling operations throughout the region.

The newly introduced centralised sales leadership structure is aimed at improving operational alignment, enhancing performance across channels, and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Ahmed Khalifa, who has been with the company for nearly five years, brings extensive experience in the FMCG sector, with expertise spanning business development, brand growth, and key account management. During his tenure, he played a significant role in expanding Coffee Planet’s customer network and building strategic partnerships across the UAE and GCC markets.

In his new role, Khalifa will oversee the company’s integrated sales operations, with a focus on strengthening customer relationships, improving execution consistency, and identifying new business opportunities across both existing and emerging markets.

The company said the move will help create greater cohesion across its growing sales channels while reinforcing accountability and operational efficiency.

Coffee Planet has significantly expanded its retail footprint in recent years, with products now available in more than 600 retail outlets and e-commerce platforms across the UAE. The brand is also distributed through over 40 retail chains across the GCC, including major retailers such as Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose, and Noon.
