Choithrams Introduces Ticketless Smart Parking With PARKONIC Across UAE Stores
Choithrams has partnered with PARKONIC to roll out a seamless, ticketless parking system across selected stores in the UAE, enhancing convenience for shoppers and reducing parking-related friction.
The initiative is powered by PARKONIC OS, a digitally managed platform that enables automated entry, validation, and exit, removing the need for physical tickets and streamlining the overall parking experience.
Smarter Parking For A Smoother Shopping Experience
The new system allows customers to enjoy one hour of complimentary parking, which is validated at checkout by simply providing their vehicle licence plate number. The parking duration is then automatically adjusted upon exit, ensuring a hassle-free process.
Beyond the free period, parking is charged at AED 15 per additional hour, with flexible payment options including QR code payments or integration with Salik for automatic deductions where applicable.
Pilot Rollout Across Key Locations
The ticketless parking solution is being piloted at three locations:
Choithrams DEC Marina store
JVC Manhattan outlet
Dubai Silicon Oasis branch
The rollout is expected to be completed by mid-April, forming the foundation for potential expansion across additional stores.

Mark Mortimer-Davies, CEO of Choithrams, highlighted that the initiative reflects the company’s customer-first approach, noting that even small touchpoints like parking can significantly influence the overall shopping experience.
He added that the collaboration represents a move toward smarter, more integrated retail infrastructure, where convenience extends beyond the store itself.
Imad Alameddine, CEO of PARKONIC, emphasised that modern retail experiences now depend on end-to-end journey optimisation, starting from arrival to departure.
