Canon Middle East celebrates 2014 achievements at its annual kick-off event
Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging solutions, and Canon Emirates organised a joint kick-off meeting at Waldorf Astoria The Palm in Dubai. The event reviewed last years business accomplishments and the way forward in achieving regional and global objectives for 2015.
As part of its strategy, Canon Middle East further discussed its ongoing employee engagement programme. Creativity will continue to be at the core of all company activities and to reinforce the entrepreneurial culture in the workplace, inspirational group workshops will be introduced for employees to brainstorm.
The Canon Middle East kick-off event was attended by Rokus Van Iperen, President and CEO Canon Europe Middle East and Africa, and included Employee Performance Award as an appreciation for their contribution to the success of the company in the region.

Canon Middle East has also completed the establishment of the joint venture with its partner in Qatar, Salam Technology.
Our direct presence in Qatar will enable us to come closer to our customers. Additionally we have developed strong initiatives in developing the Africa territory and setting the foundation blocks for digital marketing. Together, we aim to draw on our achievements in 2014, further build on them and energize our approach to accomplish stronger growth in 2015, he concluded.
In 2015, Canon will be focusing on services offering to meet the demands of fast growing businesses. With the number of internet users in the MENA region on the rise, enhanced digital marketing and mobile commerce are key drivers for the company.
