BlueFive Capital has announced the launch of BlueFive Leasing, a new aircraft leasing asset management platform based in Muscat, marking one of the first dedicated aviation leasing platforms in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The company said the initiative represents a significant step in strengthening the region’s aviation finance ecosystem and expanding GCC participation in global aircraft leasing markets.

BlueFive Leasing will focus on leasing both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft across different age profiles and market cycles. The platform will serve a diversified base of international airlines and aims to provide aviation capital sourced from the GCC while offering structured, institutionally governed investment opportunities to partners.

According to BlueFive Capital, the platform is designed to benefit from continued growth in air travel demand across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It will provide leasing solutions to airline customers while targeting scalable, risk-adjusted returns for investors.

The platform has been established through a partnership between BlueFive Capital and an Oman sovereign institution. Alongside the launch, BlueFive Leasing is beginning fundraising for its first investment vehicle, BlueFive Wings Fund I, which is targeting more than $1 billion in commitments for commercial aircraft assets.

Hazem Ben-Gacem, Founder and Chief Executive of BlueFive Capital, said the launch supports regional portfolio diversification and deeper engagement in the global aviation value chain. He noted that the platform combines capital strength with specialist management capabilities to manage market cycles and capture sector opportunities.

The launch comes six months after BlueFive Capital opened its Muscat office, as part of a broader strategy to develop new investment products in Oman and attract both domestic and international capital.
