Bahri Signs Deal to Provide Logistics Services to Saudi Rail Company (SAR)

Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, today authorized a contract with Saudi Rail Company (SAR), for the stipulation of transportation and shipping services from around the world along with customizeds clearance support via Bahri Logistics, among the six business units of Bahri.

The arrangement was signed by Mr. Khalid Abdulrahman Abanami, CFO and Designate EVP-- Common Solutions, SAR, and Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ghaith, President of Bahri Logistics, in the visibility of Mr. Wael Al-Sarhan, Vice President-- Advertising and marketing and Communications, Bahri, Mr. Abdulrahman Alghamdi, Director of Procurement and Agreements, SAR, and a number of senior executives standing for both the entities.

As part of the arrangement, Bahri Logistics will give SAR with transportation and delivering services for all kinds of cargo and an electronic system to track all shipments from the country of origin to the final location in storehouses or worksites of the company, make required arrangements with the worried export/import port through Bahri's substantial network of offices and agents, and offer working as a consultant solutions in accordance with industry standards and international finest practices in the field of maritime transportation.
