Bahri reaffirms commitment to advancing Saudi Arabias railway sector at The Railway Forum in Riyadh

Bahri, an international leader in logistics and transportation, currently participated in The Railway Forum in Riyadh, organized by the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, from 28-29 January. Saudi Minister of Transport, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, inaugurated the two-day event in the presence of key Ministers and dignitaries.

Bahris participation in the Forum came as part of its ongoing initiatives aimed at contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to radically change the Kingdom to be a unique regional and international logistics hub and global transportation gateway to three continents, specifically Asia, Europe, and Africa. Bahri Logistics, one of five enterprise units of Bahri, showcased its significant portfolio of technology-driven logistics and rail freight solutions at the Forum.

Abdullah Aldubaikhi, CEO of Bahri, delivered a keynote address as part of a panel titled Logistics Railway Benefits at the forum. The industry veteran highlighted the importance of creating an integrated transportation network and a sustainable logistics system to enable the Kingdom to capture future possibilities in each domestic and global trade and commerce. He also shed light on Bahris function in constructing a strong logistics and transportation sector in Saudi Arabia.

Aldubaikhi mentioned the Saudi governments numerous achievements towards realizing its vision to emerge as a leading logistics and transportation hub, including the establishment of a robust railway infrastructure connecting the center, north and east of the country and simplified customs clearance procedures, among others.

Commenting on this participation, Abdullah Aldubaikhi said: Saudi Arabias railway sector has been experiencing fast growth in the previous few years on the back of expanded investment in infrastructure and a steady rise in passenger and freight volumes. The countrys eager focus on capitalizing on its strategic geographic advantage to emerge as an international hub of logistics and transportation as envisaged in Saudi Vision 2030 will catalyze the further development of the sector and guarantees many thrilling funding and commercial opportunities for local and foreign investors. With its unmatched whole logistics capabilities and robust partnership with Saudi Railway Company, Bahri is competitively positioned to grab these opportunities and continue to be at the forefront of the Kingdoms ambitious transformation.
