Azizi Developments Sponsors 6th Edition of AccessAbilities Expo in Dubai

Azizi Developments, one of the UAE’s leading private developers, has announced its sponsorship of the sixth edition of the AccessAbilities Expo, the largest exhibition for People with Disabilities in the MENASA region. The event, held at the Dubai World Trade Center on October 7, 2024, is part of Azizi’s ongoing commitment to social inclusion and integration of people with disabilities.

Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, expressed his support for the initiative: “As part of our extensive CSR efforts, we are honored to sponsor the AccessAbilities Expo. This platform plays a vital role in advancing inclusion by presenting innovative solutions that cater to the needs of people with disabilities, thereby contributing to the UAE's progress. Our partnership with the Expo reflects our dedication to supporting the UAE government's vision of fully integrating people of determination into society. We look forward to continuing our support for such impactful initiatives and will soon announce another major donation.”

Azizi Developments has made numerous contributions to social causes, both in the UAE and globally. In 2024, the company donated AED 600 million to the Mother’s Endowment campaign under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and AED 100 million to the 1 Billion Meals initiative to combat world hunger. The developer also donated AED 10 million to the Al Jalila Foundation and has supported various social inclusion centers, including the Rashid Centre for the Determined Ones, Dubai Autism Center, and the Special Needs Future Development Center.

Azizi’s commitment extends beyond the UAE. The company is building several healthcare and educational facilities in Afghanistan, including a cancer center, hospital, dialysis center, and the country’s largest orphanage, with a total investment of USD 300 million. Additionally, Azizi has provided scholarships to Afghan students and distributed 1.5 million food parcels to those in need.

The AccessAbilities Expo serves as a major platform for showcasing the latest solutions and innovations designed to support people with disabilities, offering businesses the opportunity to explore growth potential in the Middle East market.
